When the beard crept on lips, when the pocket of Newport cigarettes instead of snacks and pictures, I suddenly have a feeling when I grew up, became the a man... This is about eight years ago when I was in high school, I wrote a diary, this is quite proud of the text, it seems to be in a summer, the summer came very suddenly, little be caught off guard, let me very excited, the sense of excitement. I was a ordinary student in a small city in the south, the mind dreams, fears and inexplicable anger Cheap Wholesale Newport Cigarettes, those all over the streets, vicious puissant social youth may at any time with a machete my fault, I would like a small locust as silently at any time to leave this world. I am incredible that I would come to No.1 Middle School. Many people were full of doubts and refuses to accept the result, they thought that I was a lucky dog, but should not blame them, I now even himself did not understand is how to return a responsibility, just remember that exam like a madman as tried desperately to stay up late, the experience that in the darkness of night prowling the pleasure.
After such a major setbacks in life, we found that the two important issues, first, we are doomed because so close to the score and ranking, and we are familiar like brothers; second, we need to find something to learn to vent, or will be heading for a crash. The final decision is that he stole a pack Newport cigarette out of the house Cheap Smokes Online Free Shipping, at weekend, we went to Zoo to relax Cigarettes For Sale Online Usa. Facts have proved that this decision was not successful in the end. He was from home and stole two Newport cigarettes out! We are like a thief in a small alcove soon solved at that time, I thought as long as the Newport sucked into the mouth to make a roll, so complete smoked a root in addition to mouth bitter feel nothing, he had for the first time so career into the lungs, which later led to a month like the forthcoming dead old man as hard cough, mouth scold dirty, half of the curse of cigarette, half curse my lousy idea.
When smoking process now seems to be actually full of pilgrims devout, I vaguely felt that is a kind of totem as people worship and fascination of things, every man should smoking Newport cigarettes Wholesale Cigarettes Free Shipping, no matter what happened to him Buy Discount Cigarettes. I still smoke Newport cigarettes in my life, although only then in the mouth hit a few rolling, but in my opinion that is simply a milestone in the growth of -- the patriarchal power resistance, self consciousness awakening. The extinguished cigarette like a column of incense, as if for the past years a way to pay homage to the, because the Newport cigarette, I have a closed brother who lives in America now.

Steve Atwater is a second-time finalist for the Pro Football Hall of Fame http://www.authenticsdenverbroncos.com/cheap-jeff-heuerman-jersey , and while many of the voting sports writers may see him as a long-shot because his career doesn’t have the same stats as other safeties - notably that of Ed Reed who is also among this year’s 15 finalists - Atwater’s career in the NFL should not be seen as a long-shot for the Hall of Fame.It should be seen as a model for it.As Alex Marvez, one of the voting PFHOF sportswriters and a former Broncos beat reporter for the Rocky Mountain News, Atwater was the key to Denver’s defense.Atwater was its enforcer.“With Steve, he was a sledgehammer on defense. He set the tempo for what Denver was doing even before I started covering the team,” Marvez told denverbroncos.com last week. “We’re still talking to this day about his hit on Christian Okoye as one of the most devastating plays in the history of the NFL. That speaks volume about Steve Atwater. You think about when he wiped out three guys in the final minute of Super Bowl XXXII to help preserve the victory for the Broncos. That was a play that we’re never going to forget.”As we have pointed out over and over and over in this series, Atwater never let up, and even if his hits weren’t always as devastating as the one to the “Nigerian Nightmare,” they always set a tone and a message to the other team - “Broncos are not backing down.”Atwater was also tough as nails - after all, he felt the impact of his own hits as much as the other guy.“He was a model of consistency, he played through injuries,” Marvez said. “It didn’t matter. He just set the tempo for a defense that was pretty darn good.”Marvez said he always referred to Atwater as “future Hall-of-Famer Steve Atwater” when writing about him, and he still stands by that.“I really believed that,” he said. “I was young. I didn’t feel though that I was being out of turn, because I just thought I was seeing real greatness for a guy who just brought so much to the game, so much to his team.”That’s why Atwater’s career - which he finished 20 years ago - should be the standard for the NFL Hall of Fame.Atwater not only had multiple Pro Bowl seasons, not only was named to the first-team All Decade Team for the 1990s, he was the lynchpin for his unit the years he played. Despite all of John Elway’s and Terrell Davis’ heroics in Super Bowl XXXII http://www.authenticsdenverbroncos.com/cheap-courtland-sutton-jersey , the Broncos don’t win that Super Bowl without Steve Atwater. And the Broncos don’t have a dominant team those Super Bowl years without No. 27.He was a leader, he set the standard. Not just for the Broncos, but also for all NFL safeties.Steve Atwater doesn’t just deserve the Hall of Fame at some point. He deserves it this year. This is a must-win game. That cliche gets thrown out so much, it’s lost its significance. This is not one of of those times. The time to save the season is here. In other words: This is a must-win game. That’s what faces the Denver Broncos (6-7) on Saturday at home versus the Cleveland Browns (5-7-1). Win and the Broncos keep their miniscule playoff hopes alive. Lose and their season ends. It’s that simple. As Adam Malnati and I said on the MHR Radio Podcast, we’ll either see a Denver team do whatever it takes to keep its playoff dream alive or the one that we saw in the crushing loss to the San Francisco 49ers that embarrassed itself. To bring in another cliche: It all comes down to this. Offensive RankingsCleveland: Fifteenth in overall offense (359.4 yards), 14th in rushing (120.2), 17th in passing (239.2) and 18th in points (22.5).Denver: Sixteenth in overall offense (358.6 yards), seventh in rushing (130.2), 21st in passing (228.4) and 19th in points (22.3).Defense RankingsCleveland: Thirty-first in overall defense (411.2 yards), 28th in rushing (133.3), 31st in passing (277.9) and tied for 24th in points (25.5).Denver: Twenty-fourth in overall defense (383.4 yards), 19th in rushing (119.2), 26th in passing (264.2) and ninth in points (21.7).Here are our keys to the game.Case Keenum, let ‘er rip The Broncos quarterback needs to stop playing like he’s trying not to lose. Similar to the prevent defense, it prevents your team from winning. It’s obvious Keenum doesn’t want to turn the ball over but that doesn’t mean you stop taking shots down the field. Let it rip when the opportunity presents itself. Test the Cleveland defense. Allow Courtland Sutton to make plays given he’s shown in similar situations he’ll come down with the ball or get a pass interference call. Don’t limit what the offense can do because you’re scurred you might turn the ball over. Open it up and let ‘er rip. — Ian St. Clair Better secondary play Denver’s secondary needs to play out of its minds. Baker Mayfield has thrown for 281 yards a game, 11 TDs, and just four interceptions in the five games since Hue Jackson was fired White Derek Wolfe Jersey , with a 73.2 percent completion rate. Over that span, he’s basically been a top five QB in the NFL. This Browns team is a different animal than it was in September or October, and Mayfield’s behind the renaissance. That means if you want to beat Cleveland, you have to beat its plucky, highly accurate young quarterback. The only way that can happen is if the Broncos secondary steps up to do its part by playing well above its recent level. But if they let David Njoku do what George Kittle did, Denver will have no chance. And it won’t be made any easier by the news that rookie corner Isaac Yiadom probably won’t play vs the Browns this weekend. That means your top three Broncos corners for this contest are Bradley Roby, Tramaine Brock, and either Brendan Langley or Jamar Taylor. — Taylor Kothe Orange Rush This game is being billed by the NFL as a battle between rookie studs. Well, Bradley Chubb needs to show why the Broncos were so excited to grab him, and why the Browns made a mistake by not grabbing Chubb. If the defense can force Mayfield into some quick decisions, and make him uncomfortable, it should generate turnovers that will turn into scoring opportunities for the offense. — Adam Malnati Rookie time The key to this game will be very similar for the next three weeks: Let’s see what Denver has in the young and unproven guys. Look, if the Broncos lose to the 49ers, they can and will lose to the Browns, Oakland Raiders, and Los Angeles Chargers. And as these are “keys to the game” and not “keys to victory,” my key to the game is to start playing the young guys and see how they handle the pressure of real NFL football. It’s time to shift our eyes to the future http://www.authenticsdenverbroncos.com/cheap-garett-bolles-jersey , and there’s no better time than now. — Pete Baron Dominate the trenches The Broncos offensive line was absolutely dominated in the trenches by the San Francisco defensive front. After three weeks of solid play, they finally had a down week. In order for Denver’s offense to have any luck against the Browns defense that has a handful of impact players, the offensive line has to do a better job of protecting Keenum. The Broncos cannot afford to let Myles Garrett (who has 12.5 sacks on the season) rattle Keenum or the Broncos passing attack will suffer just like it did last Sunday. They also need to do a better job at blocking for Phillip Lindsay and Royce Freeman. If Denver’s running attack fails to get going early, it could be in for a long day against an ascending Browns team. — Christopher Hart How about the defense watch film The 49ers came in with the exact same plays and scheme they’ve been using all year and the Broncos linebackers and safeties seemed utterly surprised by it. Safeties and linebackers need to study so they don’t embarrass themselves this week. Linebackers were biting on every run action last Sunday, and the safeties played with zero discipline or basic understanding of what the offense was trying to do. Get together and play disciplined football, and hopefully they get some help from their defensive coordinator. I’m not holding my breath, though. I’m starting David Njoku in both my fantasy playoffs, if that tells you how confident I am that Denver will correct last week’s errors. — Jeff Essary The MHR Radio Podcast is now on iTunes, Google Play, Spotify, Acast, Stitcher, TuneIn and a few other podcast hosts. Broncos ‘built to win on the road’ Good morning Denver Broncos Hoodie , Broncos Country!A week ago Chris Harris Jr. was calling on his coaches to give the defense more disguised looks and a more aggressive game plan. They listened, and the Broncos held the Chiefs to under 30 - their fewest points so far this season. But the Broncos’ defense let the Chiefs back in the game in the fourth quarter as Patrick Mahomes engineered two sustained touchdown drives to pull ahead in the final two minutes. The problem wasn’t the game plan this time, Harris Jr. acknowledged. It was that Mahomes was a magician. In any game, corners figure there will be a couple time where the opposing quarterback will extend the play scrambling before finding an open receiver. Having to keep up with a receiver for those few extra seconds as they change their routes is no small task and wears out a secondary.“You think those things are going to happen probably like twice a game or whatever, you might have to cover longer. But with Mahomes, it happened probably 20 times that game. That never happens,” Harris Jr. said, admitting it definitely wore out the defense. “I don’t want to make any excuse, but I think that really took a lot out of us—having to cover that long on so many plays.”Harris Jr. ended up getting two IVs of fluids to fight his leg cramps, adding that is the worst he’s felt in a game.“I was just fighting through it. I pride myself on being in great shape, being able to finish the game and get stronger in the fourth quarter. This game, I couldn’t. I was just done,” he said. But the corner praised his coach for the game plan - an improvement over last week’s approach - and added the key was playing tougher at the end.“The game plan was great, they definitely listened to everything I said,” Harris Jr. laughed. So the key to beating the Jets on the road this week is not just setting the tone early - as they did against the Ravens - but sustaining that tone and playing mistake-free.“We can’t beat ourselves - play smart football on the road, disciplined football, and we should have a great chance to win,” said No. 25, adding that this year’s team isn’t just built better to win on the road - strong defense, strong ground game - it’s just better period.“We’re mentally tough,” he said. “Every game has been a dogfight. We’ve been right there. Just a couple plays, just a couple little minor details, things we can fix and we’re going to be alright.”Coach Vance Joseph also pointed out the Broncos’ M.O. is good for winning road games; it just has to do it.“I think our team is built to win road games,” he said, pointing out the 5.6 yards per carry average with the run as well as a stout run defense. “Those two things are huge on the road. Rushing the passer is huge on the road. Those things we can do. It’s just a matter of when we get in tight games, being really detailed with our assignments and not making critical errors, whether it’s the first, second, third or fourth quarter.”The coach added that special teams is also a strength for the Broncos now and that is especially helpful when playing on the road.“I think our special teams are really up there with Baltimore’s and Seattle’s now,” he said. “We can block kicks and we can make plays in the return game. I think our team is built to win road games.”A big part of that will be the offense not turning the ball over or going three-and-out and wearing down its defense.Case Keenum seemed to realize that too. Winning on the road is all about being efficient, he said.“It’s taking care of the football. Running the football is important. Having the right explosive plays, I think, that’s pass and run. But taking care the football, making sure that you’re taking stress off the defense” Keenum said. “It’s just being efficient. Just being efficient offensively.”That would be nice on Sunday.Horse Tracks - docllv’s picks of the day‘Is this dude a magician?’: With the left-handed throw, the legend of Patrick Mahomes grows – The AthleticThe first-down throw was one of three key plays on the winning drive as Mahomes engineered his first fourth-quarter comeback in a 27-23 win over the Broncos.Case Keenum hasn’t found his rhythm in Denver yet - The Washington PostNFL quarterbacks are lighting up scoreboards at a record pace with 228 touchdown tosses through the first month of the seasonHorse TracksDenver Broncos: Case Keenum struggled on wide-open pass attemptsBroncos quarterback Case Keenum has the NFL's second-worst completion percentage on throws to wide-open receivers this season.Broncos look to establish run early and, more importantly, often against JetsPowered by Royce Freeman and Phillip Lindsay, Denver is third in the league in rushing yards.Von Miller of Denver Broncos praises Sam Darnold of New York JetsVon Miller's PR game is strong.Denver Broncos need to run more if they want to win more - Denver Broncos- ESPNThe Broncos have gone 2-2 with a dip-your-toes-in approach to the run game.‘Is this dude a magician?’: With the left-handed throw, the legend of Patrick Mahomes grows – The AthleticThe first-down throw was one of three key plays on the winning drive as Mahomes engineered his first fourth-quarter comeback in a 27-23 win over the Broncos.Case Keenum hasn’t found his rhythm in Denver yet - The Washington PostNFL quarterbacks are lighting up scoreboards at a record pace with 228 touchdown tosses through the first month of the season.Report: Broncos ‘leaning toward’ playing Wadman over KingThe decision will be made official if King (groin) cannot practice Thursday or Friday.Children's Hospital Colorado Junior Reporter: Kaylea sits down with Domata Peko Sr.This is the cutest.Brandon Marshall's plan to give back comes full circle with FEEL MovementThe inside linebacker's charitable efforts will change thousands of lives in the Denver and Las Vegas areas2018 New York Jets Offensive Line Stats: Week 4 - Gang Green NationI knew the Jets offensive line had a bad game against Jacksonville, as expected considering the absurdly talented defensive front they were competing against. Why Jets QB Sam Darnold is throwing so many dangerous passes - Gang Green NationIt was a miracle that Darnold walked away from Week 3 without throwing an interception. While the Broncos staff won’t be coaching the players this year at the Senior Bowl, they’ll still have plenty of attention and personnel down in Mobile this week as nearly the entirety of the NFL will descend on the state of Alabama to get a closer look at some of the top draft prospects.Last year, Denver took advantage of the face-time, drafting three players who participated in the Senior Bowl, cornerback Isaac Yiadom, wide receiver DaeSean Hamilton, and tight end Troy Fumagalli. They also used that opportunity to get a good look at the top quarterbacks who attended, even though they didn’t end up drafting one. This year will also bring that opportunity, however, we’ll forego the quarterback conversation today as we’ll have a whole post dedicated to the topic shortly.Today, myself and MHR’s draft guru, Christopher Hart will go over the top non-QB prospects for Denver fans to pay attention to this week; because you just might see them in the orange and blue, come draft weekend.Nasir Adderly, Safety - Delaware(by Jeff Essary)Denver will most likely move on from Darian Stewart, and I would love to see them re-stock the cupboard at the safety position. Nasir Adderly is a rangy singe high deep safety who played corner his freshman and sophomore year at Delaware which comes through in his excellent footwork. Here’s what Adderly said about the advantage playing corner gives him.“It definitely helped. Playing corner, you have to have good feet. I feel like a lot of safeties don’t have that component to their game. I feel like that’s a big help for me. I have great feet because I played corner for so long.”While playing corner definitely helped him out, Adderly said he is loving his transition to safety.Adderly has made some eye-popping interceptions on tape and projects to be one of the top safety prospects in this draft. Tytus Howard, Offensive Tackle - Alabama State(by Jeff Essary)Denver needs a long-term answer at right tackle, and Tytus Howard is an intriguing small school prospect who has looked impressive so far on tape.Howard is a converted tight end with great size at 6’6” - 309lbs, and played well against Auburn. It will be fun to see how he plays against top competition. The Senior Bowl is perfect for guys like Howard, who played most of their career against inferior competition, to show that they can hang with the larger school prospects.Te’Von Coney, ILB - Notre Dame (by Christopher Hart)With the hiring of Vic Fangio as head coach of the Denver Broncos, I would expect the team to be in the market for a linebacker to be a future foundation of their defense. Fangio is known for having athletic playmakers to be centerpieces of his defenses and while the Broncos have amassed talent at the position I feel they could certainly use a long-term upgrade. That’s where Notre Dame senior Te’Von comes into play. After spending his first two seasons at Notre Dame as a reserve linebacker, Coney burst onto the scene in his junior season and became one of the Fighting Irish’s biggest playmakers on defense. He posted 116 tackles, 11.5 for loss and 3 sacks that year and continued that dominance through his senior campaign where he totaled 123 tackles, 9.5 for loss, four sacks and an interception. Without question, Coney is one of the most productive players on display at the Senior Bowl and has a chance to cement himself as a Top 75 selection if he has a great week in Mobile. There are a lot of things to like with respect to Coney. His physicality, plus-motor, and instincts are evident on film. He is a great sideline-to-sideline defender and effective blitzer. If Coney is able to prove his worth in coverage with a strong week of practices and in-game performance he will be a highly-coveted three-down linebacker come April.Amani Oruwariye, Cornerback - Penn State(by Jeff Essary)This is one of the players I am most excited about. Denver needs corner help with Bradley Roby’s future with the team in doubt, and Chris Harris coming off of injury. Amani Oruwariye is a long corner with good size for the position at 6’1” - 204lbs www.authenticsdenverbroncos.com , and can thrive in either man or zone coverage. This quote from The Draft Network’s breakdown of Oruwariye gets me excited about the thought of pairing him up with Vic Fangio: I’m not comparing the two, per se, but the way Oruwariye breaks on the hitch and out routes from off coverage reminds me of what Kyle Fuller excelled at for the Bears last year.Germaine Pratt, Linebacker - NC State(by Jeff Essary)Denver should definitely be in the market for interior linebacker help, so be paying close attention to this entire class of linebackers. Pratt, is an interesting prospect with excellent size at 6’3” - 240lbs. He is a converted safety, so is still relatively new to the linebacker position, but looked pretty good on the tape I watched of him. He is a little stiff in his hips, and doesn’t jump off the tape with his speed, but was rarely out of position, was always around the ball and quick to rally to it, racking up 104 total tackles in 2018.Pratt still has a ways to go in development, but will be interesting to see how he looks in some of the Senior Bowl drills, especially the 1-on-1 coverage drills.Iman Marshall, Cornerback - University of Southern California(by Christopher Hart)Another area where the Broncos will likely focus draft resources is the cornerback position. Chris Harris Jr. and Isaac Yiadom are the only starting caliber players currently on the roster and the team will have to make a decision with regard to Bradley Roby and Traimane Brock who are both free agents. The aforementioned Fangio and defensive coordinator Ed Donatell will likely have their eye on this year’s crop of cornerbacks to upgrade the franchise’s secondary. One of the major themes of the Broncos’ 2018 draft class was finding players who were team leaders, multi-year starters and well-respected individuals within their respective programs. I believe that John Elway and his scouting staff will continue to search for those things as they evaluate this year’s draftees. One player in Mobile who checks all those categories is cornerback Iman Marshall from the University of Southern California.Marshall was one of the top-ranked high school recruits in the nation and became an immediate starter for the Trojans as a freshman. In his four years at Southern California, Marshall racked up 218 tackles, 6 interceptions and defended 36 passes. At 6’1 and 205 pounds, Marshall possesses ideal size for the position and his high-level of play as a senior earned him second-team All-Pac-12 honors. He appears to be at his best on off and zone coverage where he can read opposing wide receivers which make him a quality fit for Fangio’s defense. Moreover, he is an aggressive defender who shows great willingness to defend in the running game. One of the pinnacle evaluation boxes for corners is ball skills. After notching six interceptions in his first two years, Marshall didn’t snag any in his final two years with the Trojans. If he can show that he can take the ball away in Mobile he has a chance to significantly boost his draft stock and cement himself as one of the better second-tier prospects available in April. I currently have him slated as a late Day 2, Early Day 3 selection.Dalton Risner, Offensive Line - Kansas State(by Jeff Essary)Risner has been a top right tackle for Kansas State’s program for three year, and hasn’t allowed a sack since 2016. The trench battles during the practice drills are the best part of Senior Bowl week and will be an important time for Risner to prove he can hang with some of the top pass rushers, as he didn’t face the greatest competition in the Big-12.There’s some discussion on exactly where he fits in the NFL as some are projecting him inside, which could potentially help him in pass protection, as he has some footwork issues in his pass set. Risner is a dog in the trenches who could really rise (oh yes, that just happened) up the draft boards with a strong performance in Mobile.Charles Omenihu, Defensive Line - Texas(by Jeff Essary)Denver may end up needing to re-stock on the defensive line depending on who sticks around this offseason, with Kerr and Peko’s contracts both expiring. Omenihu is a bit undersized to directly replace one of those guys, but he would be a dynamic pass rushing threat inside with plus run-stopping ability. During his time at Texas, Omenihu lined up both on the edge and inside, racking up 9.5 sacks on his way to the Big-12 defensive player of the year. Not only is Omenihu a great pass rusher from both inside and out, he also made big plays in the running game on the interior against one of the top SEC teams in Georgia. The more I watch of him, the more I want to put him in Bill Kollar’s hands, go pop some popcorn, and watch the show. He’ll be another one to keep a close eye on during the trench drills this week.Andre Dillard, OT - Washington State(by Christopher Hart)With Mike Munchak in the fold coaching the Broncos’ offensive line you can bet your bottom dollar that Denver will be looking to upgrade their trenches for the 2019 season and beyond. While this year’s offensive line class might lack the top-flight names when compared to past drafts there are a handful of intriguing prospects who have the potential to become quality starters in the National Football League.Andre Dillard isn’t a household name for most draft fans yet but very well should be if he has a strong outing at the Senior Bowl. He has been a lynchpin in the Cougars’ offensive line over the past three seasons and started 39 straight games at left tackle. His on the field prowess (allowing only one sack as a senior) earned him first-team All-Pac-12 and All-American honors in his final year with the squad.Dillard is a quality pass protector with excellent footwork and has the requisite athleticism to get to the second-level routinely on run blocking assignments. His overall traits make him an ideal fit for zone blocking concepts favored by Munchak during his time with the Pittsburgh Steelers. That influence should be heightened even more given the hiring of offensive coordinator Rich Scangarello given his experience alongside Kyle Shanahan with the San Francisco 49ers offense. If Dillard puts in a dominant Senior Bowl performance expect him to make a strong push for first-round consideration.

12th Fan Jersey

Erstellt 21.02.2019 03:46 von huangjian123 21.02.2019 03:46 In der Kategorie Investments.

Why Barkevious Mingo will get back to his LSU form Barkevious Mingo Authentic 12th Fan Jersey , the former 6th overall draft pick of the Cleveland Browns, is entering into his sixth season. A lot of analysts would say that Mingo hasn’t quite lived up to the lofty first round draft pick expectation and while that might be partially true, I have a different perspective. Mingo’s first two seasons were decent for an edge defender who was learning a completely different scheme than what he ran with John Chavis during his time at LSU. In his third season, which is usually make a break for most rookie deals, he didn’t fair so well which lead him to be traded to the Patriots at the beginning of his fourth season. As most knowledgeable football advocates and fans know, being a Patriot on the defensive side of the ball means to be expendable. Expendable in this case meaning to not have a secured role week in and week out. New England is the “best“ at game-planning on a weekly bases. No one is untouchable when it comes to their formula. This statement held true once again with the recent Pro Bowl CB Malcom Butler Super Bowl LII benching debacle. The fact that Mingo was active for all 16 games that year shows that he knew the playbook, which is extremely complex. However, he never really had enough opportunities to show case his skillset that made him a 1st round draft choice.Fun fact: Mingo was only on the field for 47 defensive snaps that entire season. Kind of hard to judge or write off a player if they’re not given equal amount of opportunities to shine when it counts. In 2017, Mingo signed with the Colts and had a bounce-back year. He showcased some positive and promising signs for his future.Finishing the season with with a career-high of 47 tackles, 4 tackles for loss, 3 forced fumbles, 2 sacks, and 2 pass deflections. Playing in 501 defensive snaps last season http://www.seattleseahawksteamonline.com/barkevious-mingo-jersey , his third most since 2014. Mingo’s trending play with the Colts last season lead him to striking a 2-year, $6,800,000 contract with the Seahawks. Fast forward to today and my different perspective on Barkevious’ career “disappointment.” Below are the three reasons specifically why it’s not all Mingo’s fault and the things that these “analysts” don’t account for. Eighty-percent of players hardly control their own destiny when it comes to playing time. Now of course there’s exceptions but I’m not talking about those type of players.1). Mingo’s pitfalls were due to mismanagements. Meaning trying to make him an every play starter. Not saying that he couldn’t potentially become one, but at LSU they managed that almost to perfection during his three years in Death Valley. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it, right? I’m blaming that on his former coach’s egos in Cleveland.2). Limited opportunities, personnel, and situational game planning. In less complicated terms, did he get enough snaps? Is it a heavy run personnel? Is it most likely a pass personnel? To go even further, is it big bodies coming into the opposing teams huddle or smaller bodies like wide receivers, which dictates should they put in certain players in. Every NFL team does this, the Browns just did a terrible job at doing so. With the Patriots he just didn’t get playing time. Mingo was drafted to get after the quarterback and to disrupt the timing in the backfield. Nothing more Authentic Rashaad Penny Jersey , nothing less. He’s thin, he’s lean, he’s quick, and athletic. He’s not your traditional prototype edge defender. Well, at least four years ago he wasn’t. In today’s NFL, with it being more of a passing league, he’s the norm now.3). Mingo plays better when he has other superstars around him. Although you can make that case for every player who’s ever played the game, it’s really true in his situation. In his three years at LSU he played with bonafide ballers that made his assignment simplistic at best. Seahawks-Colts: C.J. Prosise won’t play due to hip injury Third-year Seattle Seahawks running back C.J. Prosise is certainly not guaranteed a roster spot due to his very troubling and extensive injury history. He has only appeared in eleven out of a possible 34 games (postseason included) over the last two seasons Duane Brown Jersey , and the former Notre Dame star won’t be playing in Thursday’s preseason opener against the Indianapolis Colts.Seahawks general manager John Schneider says that Prosise “has a little hip injury” that is keeping him out of action at least for this week. This may explain why Seattle added former Michigan State RB Gerald Holmes to the 90-man roster, waiving WR Marvin Bracy in the process. You feel for Prosise considering he’s had major trouble staying healthy. He has shown flashes of brilliance at times in limited action, as we saw against the New England Patriots and Philadelphia Eagles in 2016. Unfortunately, preseason hasn’t even started yet and the story of Prosise’s career dating back to his rookie season has unfortunately carried into 2018. It is always depressing and deeply embittering to discover what seems like a great performance is in fact a great act of cheating. I believe the moldering bones of John Dryden said it best when they said:“When I consider life, ‘tis all a cheat;Yet, fool’d with hope, men favour the deceit;Trust on, and think to-morrow will gainsay;Russell Wilson’s tool-assisted super-play!”So let us gainsay Authentic Germain Ifedi Jersey , let us all gainsay together as one big gainsaying bunch o’ gainsayers! Wilson’s deception must be exposed! For surely no mortal man could have made this pass. The details which expose this fraud are both obvious and subtle.Let us begin with some of the irregularities which preceded and perhaps foreshadowed Wilson’s hoax. In doing we will see just how far this conspiracy goes.First consider this bizarre section of ESPN’s win probability graphic. You will see it contains seemingly-impossible foreknowledge of Wilson’s coming heroics. Consider the fact that Seattle’s win probability increased following Chris Carson’s run for a loss of two on first and ten.Surely the algorithm was programmed to recognize the flash of Justin Britt’s 68 as he was bullied back by Derrick Nnadi as a signal that Wilson’s chicanery was imminent. How else can we explain Britt, a highly-paid veteran regularly praised by his teammates and coaches, being so clearly and demonstrably overpowered by a rookie? We can’t. That the distinctive pattern of Britt’s 68 relayed a signal to an orbiting satellite which triggered or “turned on” Russell Wilson’s cybernetic enhancements is the only plausible explanation. And this, my friends, is but the tip of the iceberg! Now let us look at the play in question.Chiefs’ defensive coordinator Bob Sutton calls a play in which every defender is within five yards of the line of scrimmage. Facing the best deep passer in the NFL this is an indefensible decision. One might be tempted, maybe to satisfy that optimistic Pippa found in the souls of all sheeple, to explain Sutton’s decision as a natural reaction to Seattle’s tendency to run on first and second down. Further pointing out that the Seahawks had the lead with only three minutes remaining in the fourth quarter, and that running the ball Youth Earl Thomas III Jersey , even if that run lost yards, would force Kansas City to call its timeouts, thereby functionally shortening the clock.“Explanations exist; they have existed for all time; there is always a well-known solution to every human problem — neat, plausible, and wrong.” —JuvenalWe know now that running does not affect the success of passing, and that if rushing were outlawed by the League, that play-action passing would be equally if not more effective than it now is. Indeed the only possible conclusion we can draw from the above is that Sutton is a co-conspirator, a double agent selectively working against his team’s cause. But enough of this prelude. Let us see the hopeful monster of servos http://www.seahawksauthorizedshops.com/authentic-doug-baldwin-jersey , gizmos, fullerenes and augmented human cells the Draconians have crafted for our continuous blithe distraction from their parasitic machinations. Here we see the throw begin. Hold on to your xxxxxx hat.Let us first discuss those tentacle like appendages we may be tempted to call legs.Neurons communicate at 432 kilometers per hour. To accomplish this they must cover themselves in cheese puffs and spin like a drunken dervish.432 kilometers an hour might seem fast, but remember there are many thousands of kilometers in every mile. Were Wilson human and human only, it would be impossible for his mind to communicate with his legs and his legs to communicate with his mind in time to coordinate this feat of athleticism. Which is why QWOP is so fun and realistic. Instead through what is deviously referred to as “practice” Wilson’s “brain” is able to communicate an entire sequence of motions and seemingly faster than is possible. I bet.Of course Wilson is not only executing flawless footwork in violation of all neuroscience and human capability, he is calculating a theoretical point of completion. This requires Wilson to know where Tyler Lockett, who is only 10 yards down field at the moment the ball leaves Wilson’s hand, will be an additional 30 yards down field.Lockett, who is being bumped and hand-checked by Charvarius Ward Kam Chancellor Jersey , can not hope to run a route identical to one he ran in practice. Seemingly, Lockett can not hope to communicate to Wilson exactly how Ward’s interference has changed his route. Wilson therefore could not hope to throw to where Lockett would end up with such pinpoint accuracy. This of course raises the specter of telepathy. But dear reader I tell you telepathy would not be enough! With his massive hands Wilson must exert torque imparting spin which gyroscopically stabilizes the pass. But would such stabilization allow a ball to traverse variable humidity and shifting winds in the lower troposphere?Of course not. We’re dealing with straight up psychokinesis here, folks. As put forth by renowned evolutionary biologist and noted skeptic Richard Dawkins:“... [A] paranormalist could really ... be the discoverer of a totally new principle unknown to physical science. The discoverer of the new energy field that links mind to mind in telepathy, or of the new fundamental force that moves objects around a table top, deserves a Nobel prize[.]”Above we see indisputable proof of just that: a totally new principle unknown to physical science. Two players communicating though neither can speak to the other. A ball in flight guided not by ballistics but something far more eerie and uncanny. Yet stranger still is how that ball can even reach Lockett. Does it not, as Zeno’s arrow, depend on an infinite regression? Does the ball not have to first go halfway before reaching Lockett, and after must it not go halfway of the remaining half Authentic K.J. Wright Jersey , and halfway again and again ad infinitum!? And what is halfway when a projectile aims for a moving target? How can a ball traverse both an infinite series of halfways when it must also traverse infinite permutations of halfway!?!?Now, you might be thinking that I am misrepresenting the ideas of Dawkins. You might also be thinking that Zeno’s paradox is really only a paradox of language, and proves little but the impossibility of capturing the complex and infinitely subtle nature of motion through words like “halfway” and “instant.” You might even think I’m a bit of a nutter, or that I’m pulling your leg, or that I’m high on drugs right this minute. Ha! The unthinking masses like to think! That’s what they do!But answer me this, thinker: How could a human being throw a prolate spheroid made of leather in outdoor conditions to a hypothesized point 45 yards down field where one human being may catch it but another human being—so close the two’re touching—can not?You can’t. No one can.

After the Jets’ performance in the loss to the Vikings last week was disrupted by the windy conditions http://www.jetscheapshops.com/cheap-authentic-eric-tomlinson-jersey , it doesn’t get any easier this week as they head to the Windy City to face the Bears. Although Chicago is only 3-3, they shouldn’t be underestimated, as their three losses have been by one, three and seven points. They’re looking to avoid a three-game losing streak though.Let’s review how their roster shapes up:QuarterbacksThe Bears quarterback is Mitchell Trubisky, who is in his second year as a starter having taken over the reins early on in his rookie season. Statistically, he’s off to a good start, as he has a quarterback rating of 97.1 and has also added 245 yards and two touchdowns on the ground.Chase Daniel is Trubisky’s backup. Since 2014, Daniel has thrown just three NFL passes, earning just under $20 million during that time.Offensive lineThe Bears pass protection has been pretty solid so far this year. Trubisky has been sacked 14 times but several of those were because he held the ball too long. Having said that they do really on him to escape the rush at times too.The Bears are led by Charles Leno Jr., who has quietly developed into one of the league’s most reliable left tackles. Cody Whitehair at center gives them another solid young building block too.Kyle Long is the Bears’ highest paid lineman, as the right guard is in year three of a four-year, $40 million deal. Another veteran Cheap Darron Lee Jersey , Bobby Massie, is the right tackle. At left guard, former sixth round pick Eric Kush won the starting job over rookie James Daniels in camp, but has been sharing reps with Daniels over the past few games and has been ruled out on Sunday, so Daniels will make his first start.Chicago has plenty of experience on the bench with journeymen Bradley Sowell at tackle and Bryan Witzmann at guard having 36 career starts between them. Their most interesting reserve might be converted nose tackle Rashaad Coward, but he hasn’t played yet this year.Running BacksAt running back, leading rusher Jordan Howard is coming off a season where he racked up over 1,100 rushing yards and nine touchdowns. However, he’s averaging just 3.5 yards per carry this year.Youngster Tarik Cohen is creating a big buzz though, as the change of pace back is emerging as a force. Having caught 53 passes as a rookie, he is averaging almost five yards per carry and has 29 receptions already.Reserve Benny Cunningham and fullback Michael Burton haven’t played much yet this season.ReceiversAllen Robinson is the Bears’ highest-paid offensive player, but he’s been listed as questionable having missed a few practices earlier in the week. Robinson has 25 catches so far this year but the team’s leading receiver is actually Taylor Gabriel with 30.Off the bench James Carpenter Jersey , the Bears have Kevin White, who was the player selected after Leonard Williams in the 2015 draft. He’s been a big disappointment so far, as injuries have slowed his progress. Until last week, he had no catches this season, but he caught two passes against New England, including a Hail Mary pass that saw him stopped just a yard shy of the game-tying touchdown.Anthony Miller, a second-round rookie, has had more immediate success than White with 11 catches and a couple of touchdowns. He’s a good athlete and a threat from the slot.Tight end Trey Burton, an offseason pickup, leads the Bears with four touchdown catches. His backup, Dion Sims, had a two-touchdown game against the Jets in 2016 while with Miami.Defensive lineThe Bears run a 3-4 system Cheap Nathan Shepherd Jersey , anchored by veteran defensive end Akiem Hicks, who is a premier run stopper and has also chipped in with three sacks.Eddie Goldman and Jonathan Bullard, two former day two picks, are the starters at nose tackle and the other end position respectively. However, Roy Robertson-Harris and rookie Bilal Nichols also get plenty of rotational reps.LinebackersThe outlook for the Bears changed dramatically when they traded a haul of draft picks for Raiders edge defender and the former defensive player of the year, Khalil Mack, then signed him to a massive extension.Mack had been as good as advertised with five sacks and four forced fumbles in the first four games, but he’s been slowed by an ankle injury over the past few games and the Bears have been cautious with him in practice. Mack usually lines up almost exclusively on the left, but has been playing more on the right over the past few weeks, so Kelvin Beachum - who himself has been listed as questionable - might see more of Mack than anticipated. The other outside linebacker is Leonard Floyd, who is a good athlete but has made an underwhelming start to the season so far. Aaron Lynch is the Bears’ most experienced backup, as the former 49er has 17 career sacks. On the inside Lac Edwards Jersey , the Bears pair a talented rookie - Roquan Smith - with an experienced veteran, leading tackler Danny Trevathan.Nick Kwiatkoski, a mid-round pick from two years ago, is typically the first linebacker off the bench.Defensive backsThe Bears have received excellent play from their cornerbacks this year with starters Kyle Fuller and Prince Amukamara putting up excellent coverage numbers along with nickelback Bryce Callahan. Fuller leads the team with three interceptions.Veteran Marcus Cooper has missed the last month with a hamstring injury but is now apparently ready to return to provide a further boost.Eddie Jackson, a fourth round pick last season, and Adrian Amos are the starting safeties. Deon Bush, another recent draft pick, is the third safety.Special teamsPlacekicker Cody Parkey got a new contract with $9 million in guarantees - the third highest of any kicker in the NFL - but his overtime miss against the Dolphins earlier this season cost the Bears a valuable win. He’s made 10 of his other 11 field goals this year though.Punter Pat O’Donnell is also coming off a rough game where the Patriots blocked one of his punts for a touchdown.Cohen is deadly in the return game. He’s averaging 12.5 yards per punt return this year. However, Cunningham and Miller have been handling kickoff duties so far.Cunningham is also a solid contributor in kick coverage, as are reserve defensive backs Sherrick McManis and DeAndre Houston-Carson.Gang Green Nation’s Highlight Reel (October 3rd-October 9th) Our readers’ and writers’ contributions to this site are a major reason why Gang Green Nation is the best Jets blog in the history of Jets blogs. I wanted to take a quick look at a pair of plays from Sam Darnold that were misrepresented in the box score - one positive Youth Neal Sterling Jersey , one negative. This first clip is Darnold’s third interception of the game. Spencer Long delivers an awful snap that is wide right. Darnold is impressively able to snag it one-handed, not only saving a potential turnover or defensive touchdown, but allowing the play to continue as planned. He then launches an accurate throw to the slanting Charone Peake for what should be a first down. Instead, it bounces off of Peake’s chest and into the hands of Trae Waynes. Darnold gets credited with an interception and his box score takes a gargantuan hit because of it. Whereas in reality, Darnold put out a very positive effort on this snap, saving a turnover and perfectly executing his role in attempting to convert a first down. Two mishaps by his teammates help make him look bad in the history books. At the same time quarterbacks can make great plays that are misrepresented as awful ones on the statsheet, they can also make huge mistakes that are glossed over as harmless incomplete passes. This next play is the opposite of the first one we went over. On that play, Darnold saved a turnover and created yardage he shouldn’t have been able to - and got credited with a turnover as a result. On this play, Darnold put the ball at major risk of being intercepted, and left a lot of yards on the field that he should have easily picked up. He is lightly penalized with an incomplete pass. It’s 2nd & 7 Authentic Jamal Adams Jersey , the Jets have the ball early in the third quarter down 3 at their own 38. Here’s a look at how this play is going to transpire. The Jets overload with three tight ends on the right side. All three are going to run vertical routes. Robby Anderson will run a dig towards the middle, Crowell, highlighted in yellow, will run to the flat. The Vikings play two deep safeties with a linebacker covering the middle of the field, while the rest of their defenders take the 3 tight ends and Anderson in man coverage.Nobody can account for Crowell. With the Vikings playing man across the board and the will linebacker playing zone in the middle of the field, Crowell is going to have all the free grass in the world in front of him out in the flat. However, Darnold fails to recognize it.Pre-snap, this could easily be a zone look. Mike Zimmer’s Vikings defense is known for its ability to mix and match exotic coverages. The work needs to be done post-snap. Once Darnold sees all three tight ends being carried up the field and no defenders staying home underneath, he should know that he has Crowell in the flat. With all three tight ends covered and a safety lurking over top on that side of the field, the Vikings have the man advantage on a deep attempt. Darnold makes a blatant error choosing an unfavorable option over his most favorable one Youth Nathan Shepherd Jersey , and is very lucky he is not picked off. It’s all part of the growing process as a rookie. Sometimes, you just have to let the Alex Smith inside of you take over. Identifying where your mismatches and advantages are on the field is extremely important, and it’s something that a 21-year old rookie probably is not going to excel at off the bat. More reps on tape like the one above will certainly help him learn through experience how he can improve his decision-making and post-snap thought process to maximize each play. When a defense busts an assignment, it provokes anger and outrage from fans. These guys are handsomely compensated professionals. How can they just blow an assignment? This was a popular refrain last week as we examined the Jets’ loss to Jacksonville. On many levels, the complaints ring true. The NFL has the best football players in the world. These players have a job, and it is to execute. Their opponents are also very talented paid quite well to execute, though. And complex plays are necessary to beat opponents of such high caliber. Complexity can lead to errors. The Jets aren’t the only team to make these errors. Take what happened to the Broncos in the third quarter of Sunday’s game.Defensive play calls are complicated by their very nature. A defense has no idea whether the opponent will run the ball or throw the ball before a play is run. Therefore, the defensive playcall must provide assignments for both possibilities. On this play, to defend the run, the Broncos have seven defenders committed to stopping the run. They are each assigned one of the seven gaps in the Jets’ formation. A gap is the space between blockers up front.Against the pass Youth Leonard Williams Jersey , the Broncos are playing man to man coverage. The most notable pass assignment is number 29 Bradley Roby matched up against Quincy Enunwa.Enunwa is sent in motion, and this starts a chain of events that leads to disaster for Denver. Roby follows him.Darian Stewart (number 26) makes a signal with his hand telling Roby to stop following Enunwa. It is difficult to follow a receiver in motion across the formation. As you can see above, Roby is behind Enunwa. The Jets could snap it quickly, and Roby would be out of position.Stewart is essentially saying to Roby, “Stay where you are. We are switching assignments. I will now have Enunwa in man coverage.”Taking Enunwa means that Stewart will no longer be able to help against the run. To compensate for this, two linebackers shift over. Brandon Marshall slides over to take Stewart’s old gap, while Josey Jewell slides over to take Marshall’s old gap. (Old gaps are in pink; new gaps are in yellow.)You can see the new gap assignments here. (Marshall’s and Jewell’s changed assignments are in yellow.)You might notice a problem here. The gap between Kelvin Beachum and Eric Tomlinson is unoccupied. Roby did not get the message and continued to follow Enunwa. That was Jewell’s old gap. When Jewell slid over, Roby was supposed to take it.Here’s what the assignment looks like with a lifelike illustration of Roby filling that gap.Stewart was supposed to take over for Roby covering Enunwa man to man. Marshall was supposed to slide to take Stewart’s gap against the run. Jewell was supposed to slide to take Marshall’s gap against the run. Roby was supposed to release Enunwa and take Jewell’s gap against the run.Everybody got the message except Roby, which left a gap undefended. The Jets were quite happy to run the ball into this undefended area.Isaiah Crowell ripped off a 54 yard gain.It is easy for fans to forget there are two teams on the field. A week ago, Jets fans were understandably upset with their defense for all of the blown defensive assignments. Part of the story Color Rush Isaiah Crowell Jersey , however, was that the Jaguars deserved credit for making the Jets pay. Just because the defense messes up doesn’t mean the offense will automatically create a big play. On the same note, the Jets deserve credit here for making Denver pay for a mistake. The Broncos bust this play, but the Jets also block up front very well, and Crowell runs with speed and authority to prevent Denver from covering for its error. In here there is also a lesson about why teams use presnap motion. It frequently forces the defense to adjust its assignments quickly before the snap. That requires quick and effective communication in a high stress setting. It only takes one person to miss the message for disaster to strike.(The motion has another impact. Had the Broncos executed better, the Jets still would have created more favorable matchups against Denver’s defense. If the Jets threw, a safety would be one on one against Enunwa. Against the run, a corner would have to defend rather than a safety.)You might now understand why offenses like Kansas City utilize so many complex presnap motions. The more the defense has to adjust, the greater the odds of a bust.

The Oakland Raiders go into the final stretch of the season not knowing if they will have their starting offensive line available for the remaining two games.Coach Jon Gruden said he remained cautiously hopeful that left guard Kelechi Osemele can return from a toe injury and right guard Gabe Jackson can get back from an elbow injury in time for Monday night's home finale against Denver."You have to be realistic Cheap T.J. Yeldon Jersey , not just hopeful," Gruden said Monday. "This is a serious toe injury that is hard for him to maneuver on. Gabe Jackson is suffering from a very legitimate elbow injury and it's hard to block people when you can't extend your arm. We're concerned, obviously. But, I will say this. Chaz Green and Denzelle Good 鈥?on a short notice 鈥?they did do some good things yesterday."With a pair of backup guards who joined the team during the year, the Raiders struggled offensively against a Bengals team that came into the game as the lowest-ranked defense in the NFL.Oakland allowed five sacks in a 30-16 loss as the offense generated just one touchdown behind the banged-up line. While much attention was placed on the fill-in guards, it was the rookie tackles who struggled more, particularly left tackle Kolton Miller Cheap Jalen Ramsey Jersey , who allowed two sacks and eight of the 16 pressures against Derek Carr, according to Pro Football Focus."He had a couple pass sets that were uncommon for him and we have to fix that fast," Gruden said. "He was isolated in some tough one-on-one situations like he always is. There were a couple pass sets that I'm sure he wants back and we have to continue to work with him on the practice field and become a lot more consistent in that aspect."It's been a tough rookie season for Miller, who was selected 15th overall by the Raiders. Miller was hampered by a knee injury he played through earlier in the season and has appeared to lack the strength to deal with NFL pass rushers at times.According to Pro Football Focus, Miller has allowed more sacks (14) and total pressures (59) than any other player in the league. But Gruden remains confident in Miller."For a rookie, he's been able to handle the peaks and valleys of his rookie season very well," Gruden said. "He's had some really good games. He's had some games where he's had his eyes opened. He's not the first rookie left tackle that has gone through this. We'd like to see him finish with some authority and we have to help him do that with a much better protection plan than I called yesterday."The poor protection has taken a toll on Carr Cheap Leonard Fournette Jersey , who has been sacked 47 times this season after having just 36 the previous two seasons combined. The only Raiders to be sacked more in a season since the merger are Rich Gannon with 49 in 1999 and Jeff George with 58 in 1997.Carr has also been sacked at least three times in seven straight games, the longest single-season streak since Blake Bortles did it in the final seven games of 2014."I think Derek has played great," Gruden said. "Somebody told me he had 3,700 yards and 68 percent completions in 13 games. That's astonishing. With three new guards, losing a right tackle, a feature back, three top receivers. The guy is a hell of a player. The guy is a great quarterback. We are very pleased and proud of what he has done. We know we got to get better around him Cheap A. J. Cann Jersey , and that we will."NOTES: Gruden said there's a chance T Donald Penn could be activated from IR from a groin injury that sidelined him in Week 4. ... CB Gareon Conley is in concussion protocol after leaving Sunday's game with the injury. The Jacksonville Jaguars signed veteran offensive tackle Ereck Flowers last week, a move that kind of showed the desperation level the team is at after seeingboth Cam Robinson and Josh Wells hit injured reserve. Flowers was originally a first round draft pick of the New York Giants, trying to start at both left and right tackle but neither ended up well.Flowers is hopeful a change of scenery and getting back with the offensive line coach who was with him as a rookie will help get his career on track.“Great opportunities, great team and I’m happy to be here,” Flowers told John Reid of The Florida Times-Union. “Definitely a fresh start for me. I like it here, man. I think this will be a better fit. They have a great locker room, great guys. I’m grateful to be here.”The Jaguars saw Flowers in action Week 1 when they beat the New York Giants 20-15 Womens Marcell Dareus Jersey , and he had his hands full all day, beginning with veteran defensive end Calais Campbell and continuing with everyone else who came off the bench.“The thing about playing against them [Jaguars], there was no drop off,” Flowers told Reid. “It was like everybody was good on the defensive front Everyone had to hold their own. But they brought a lot of energy and you could tell they were really a tight group.”We don’t know what the plan is right now for Flowers, if he will be active or even start at left tackle against the Houston Texans on Sunday. Josh Walker, a guard, has done a serviceable job in relief at left tackle but he has yet to really face a pass rusher like the trio the Jaguars will face on Sunday in JJ Watt Youth Dede Westbrook Jersey , Jadeveon Clowney and Whitney Mercilus.I don’t expect much out of Flowers, to be perfectly honest, but the hope is a change of scenery can help him get this right.

The season is for all intents and purposes over. That is the takeaway as the Jacksonville Jaguars lost their fourth-straight game and fell to a seemingly insurmountable 3-5 record on the season http://www.authenticsjacksonvillejaguars.com/cheap-a.j.-bouye-jersey , dropping their annual London “home” game to the Philadelphia Eagles, 24-18.The Jaguars did play tougher than they had in the prior three outings, against the defending Super Bowl champions, but injuries on the defensive secondary and a front seven that could not maintain significant pressure on Carson Wentz, eventually led to the team with the better quarterback eventually pulling away. The defense did start fast early, forcing two turnovers on the first two Eagles series, including Jalen Ramsey’s first interception of the season, but the Jaguars offense was able to muster only 3 points off of them.On offense, quarterback Blake Bortles played much better than the last three weeks, but still was mired by bad play in the receiving group http://www.authenticsjacksonvillejaguars.com/cheap-josh-lambo-jersey , which registered 6 dropped passes on the day, a reoccurring theme most of the year, and some poor decision making that often looked like unnecessarily rushed throws. The team seemed to decide newly acquired Carlos Hyde was better as an extra linemen, as he was essentially non-existent in the running game with the Jaguars curiously refusing to run much of the game. For as improved as Bortles played, the offense twice had the ball down one score late in the game, and twice the offense failed to get the ball into the end zone. Including on the final drive, where on the deciding 4th & 2, Bortles seemed to rush himself into an uncatchable ball to essentially end the game. On the bright side, Josh Lambo made a career-high four field goals, including a 57 yarder. The Jaguars enter the bye week now two games behind the Houston Texans Youth Leonard Fournette Jersey , three if you include the tie breaker, and have to turn their attention to what the best decisions for the franchise are for 2019 and moving forward, as the post-season hopes are all but dead. But hey, at least Shad got his revenue today! Is London the cure for what ails Blake Bortles, Jaguars?Maybe the annual trip to London is just what struggling quarterback Blake Bortles needs to break out of his — and the Jacksonville Jaguars’ — three-game slump, according to ESPN’s Mike DiRocco. Bortles has a history of playing well in Wembley Stadium, and another good performance there should energize an offense that has failed to score points in the first half of the past three games. Bortles has 923 yards passing, eight touchdown passes and two interceptions in four trips overseas, including a four-touchdown performance in last season’s 44-7 rout of Baltimore.Blake Bortles claims he’s a “scapegoat”Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Blake Bortles takes a lot of criticism, the majority of it deserved Youth Myles Jack Jersey , but to his credit he’s always handled it well and taken it in stride. He’s been one of the first to lay blame on himself, even if it’s not deserved, and always made some good self-deprecating jokes at the podium. If it wasn’t known by now to anyone, Bortles isn’t bothered by the outside criticism of him from fans, media or even other players.Malcolm Jenkins took a shot at Blake BortlesThe Jacksonville Jaguars have a quarterback problem and the rest of the NFL knows it. When talking about this week’s opponent, Philadelphia Eagles safety Malcolm Jenkins used his observations of Blake Bortles as proof why Colin Kaepernick should absolutely be playing today. And in other Jaguars news ...The Jaguars may be turning to three rookie cornerbacks against the Eagles because of injuries.Which Eagles players will be crucial on Sunday if the team is to have any success against the Jaguars?Mike Jones of USA Today says the Jaguars have no one to blame but themselves for the mess they’re currently in.Carlos Hyde might be the boost this Jaguars offense needs to get going.

I just stayed with him and battled after that.”Couturier scored 35 seconds later with a wrist shot from the slot http://www.washingtonredskinsteamonline.com/adrian-peterson-jersey , sending the puck under Henrik Lundqvist’s right arm after a pass from Konecny. After Weal’s goal, Couturier scored on a rebound with 1:37 remaining.Philadelphia had a season-high 46 shots against the 36-year-old Lundqvist, who started for the 18th time in 23 games. The four-time All-Star said there was no doubt the Flyers deserved the victory.“Today we played a team that did most things better than us; they played really well,” Lundqvist said. “The only thing I didn’t like is we kept taking chances when it was a one-goal game.”After giving up the first goal in each game during their skid, the Flyers outshot the Rangers 15-8 in the first period, going ahead on Konecny’s unusual goal with 6:39 left. SUNRISE Jason Zucker Jersey , Fla. (AP) The Florida Panthers are on a roll.Aleksander Barkov scored two goals to lift the Panthers to a 3-2 win over the New Jersey Devils on Thursday night.Maxim Mamin scored his second NHL goal and Robert Luongo made 29 saves as the Panthers recorded their fourth straight win.The Panthers have successive victories over Washington, Pittsburgh, Toronto and New Jersey.”We beat four good teams in a row here. It’s been close games and finding ways to win in the third period,” Panthers coach Bob Boughner said. Each of the games were decided by a one-goal margin and the winning goal coming late in the third period or overtime (Toronto).”Going into the third, no matter what the score is, we’re confident we’ll come out with the win, and we’ve played our best in the third period, it seems,” Luongo said. ”That’s a good quality to have.”The Panthers finish their season-long six-game homestand with games against Buffalo on Friday and Philadelphia on Sunday afternoon”We have to make sure there’s no let down and the foot is on the gas pedal,” Boughner said. ”We talked about playing good and waking up Monday morning and finding yourself in a really good spot.”Jesper Bratt and Taylor Hall scored for the Devils Joel Eriksson Ek Jersey , and Patrick Maroon had two assists. Cory Schneider stopped 26 shots in his first start since missing 16 games with a lower-body injury.”It felt good to play again and it’s a fun time of year to play,” Schneider said. ”It’s too bad we didn’t get any points out of this.”Barkov’s second goal stretched the Panthers lead to 3-1 with 3:34 left in the third. Barkov lifted the puck over Schneider and into the net.”We still have 20 games left,” Barkov said. ”All that matters is winning, and I’m glad I’ve been helping the team with scoring goals and assisting on them.”Bratt’s goal closed the score to 3-2 with 2:07 left in the third. The goal was Bratt’s first since Jan. 20 against Philadelphia, a span of 19 games.”It’s tough not to get two points but for myself it’s nice to get a goal after a long time,” Bratt said.Mamin gave the Panthers a 2-1 lead on his flukey goal at 8:38 of the third period. Mamin grabbed a long cross-ice pass from Jared McCann and flipped the puck up at the net as he skated past on the right side. The puck bounced off Schneider’s back and rolled into the net.Hall tied the score 1-all on a power-play goal 50 seconds into the second period. Hall’s shot from the top of the right circle was inadvertently redirected into the net off the stick of Panthers defenseman Aaron Ekblad.Hall has 21 points (11 goals, 10 assists) in a 16-game point streak, the longest in the NHL this season and the longest in Devils history and has a point in 23 consecutive appearances.Hall wasn’t in a celebratory mood after the loss when asked what the record means to him.”Not much. I wasn’t very good tonight,” he said. ”My goal was a deflection.”The Panthers took a 1-0 lead after Barkov took a shot from the left side that bounced off Schneider’s pad and out into the crease. The puck then went off the left skate of New Jersey’s Nico Hischier and into the net as he collided with both Florida’s Nick Bjugstad and Schneider in the crease at 6:51 of the first. The goal survived a coach’s challenge of goaltender interference. I have to give him a lot of credit because he is in front of the net.”Garland was stationed just outside the crease when Oliver Ekman-Larsson’s wrister from inside the blue line got past Henrik Lundqvist on a power play to open the scoring at 7:19 of the first period, the beginning of another tough game for Lundqvist.Alex Galchenyuk had a goal and two assists, and Mario Kempe and Clayton Keller also scored as the Coyotes scored all their goals in the first two period while winning for the second time in their last nine home gamesGalchenyuk has 10 points in his last eight games and Garland has three goals in his last two games and five in his last seven. They were shut out for the third time this season and have given up four power play goals in the last two games — three in a 6-1 loss at Colorado on Friday night.“We’re fragile mentally and physically right now, the ways things are going,” Rangers coach David Quinn said.“There are a whole heap of problems, and we have to address them. We had no legs today. They had way more jump than we did. It was every man. We just didn’t have any energy. You can’t play with no energy in this league.”The Coyotes had scored only four goals in their last three games and had been held to one or fewer goals in seven of their last 12, including a 3-2 overtime loss to New Jersey on Friday.“We wanted a good bounce-back game, and it starts with the first period,” Garland said.Kempe made it 2-0 exactly two minutes later when the Rangers could not clear a bouncing puck near the left circle. Kempe fired a wrist shot that beat Lundqvist high to the blocker side.Garland struck again at 6:34 of the second, when a shot from the slot deflected off Kevin Shattenkirk’s stick and fluttered past Lundqvist. After missing five games with a knee injury http://www.blackhawksshoponline.com/authentic-gustav-forsling-jersey , Nashville Predators goalie Pekka Rinne came back with quite the bang Thursday night in Tampa Bay.Rinne stoned the Lightning with 42 saves in Nashville’s 4-1 win, more or less stealing two points on an evening when the Predators were outshot 43-24 and outhit 29-16. Needless to say, rust wasn’t a part of his game after a 13-day layoff.“He was unbelievable,” Nashville coach Peter Laviolette said. “He looked really sharp to me … he was brilliant, and he needed to be.”Article continues below ...Rinne (4-1-0, 1.91 goals-against average, .940 save percentage) figures to be back in net Saturday night for the Predators’ last home game before their yearly CMA road trip as they take on the Boston Bruins in Bridgestone Arena.Nashville (10-3-0) owns the NHL’s best record and is off to the fastest start through 13 games in franchise history. It is again proving its ability to win any type of game, as shown by its league-leading plus-16 goal differential, and is flashing the depth that helped it finish with the league’s best record last season. The Predators won Thursday night with first-line right winger Viktor Arvidsson (lower-body injury) on the shelf. No matter. Rinne came up big, Kyle Turris came up with a ridiculous goal off an off-balance deflection and center Ryan Johansen set up two goals with passes straight out of a video game.Johansen’s blind, backhand pass from the left half-wall to Roman Josi for a goal with less than seven seconds left in the first period belongs on any highlight video.“If you look at the replay, he takes a little peek and makes that spin-o-rama pass,” Rinne said of Johansen. “It was pretty unreal John Hayden Jersey , a beautiful goal. I wasn’t surprised, but it was pretty cool to see in a game.”While some might carp that Johansen doesn’t shoot enough, and with some justification, he still leads the team in scoring with two goals and 13 assists. His linemates, Arvidsson and Filip Forsberg, have accounted for 18 goals, so it’s not like Johansen has needed to shoot.Should Arvidsson return from his injury, it will create a big-time matchup of first lines. Boston has one of the best around in David Pastrnak, Patrice Bergeron and Brad Marchand, and they were on fire Tuesday night in a 3-2 win at Carolina.Marchand scored the tying and winning goals, and Pastrnak scored the first goal. Bergeron had helpers on all three goals. In the Bruins’ 7-3-2 start, the line has combined for 22 goals, including a league-leading 11 by Pastrnak Authentic Jonathan Toews Jersey , and an absurd 50 points.Marchand’s goals broke a six-game stretch without a goal.“It’s kind of how he is,” Bergeron said. “He makes something happen out of nothing so we just try to send him and after that, he finds a way.”Jaroslav Halak (4-0-2, 1.51, .947) has bounced back from a couple of off-years with the New York Islanders to help Boston get off to a fast start. He saved 42 shots against the Hurricanes, and has vastly overplayed incumbent Tuukka Rask (3-3-0, 3.15, .902).The teams split two regular-season games last year, both winning on home ice. ST. LOUIS (AP) — St. Louis Blues center Brayden Schenn is known for his offensive touch. He showed his physical side on Friday night.Ryan O’Reilly, Schenn and Alex Pietrangelo finished with a goal and an assist, and the Blues snapped a three-game losing streak with a 6-2 victory over the Nashville Predators.Ivan Barbashev, Zach Sanford and Robby Fabbri also scored for the Blues, who posted their highest goal total in 11 games. Robert Thomas had a pair of assists Custom Minnesota Wild Jerseys , and Jake Allen made 26 saves as interim head coach Craig Berube earned his first win since taking over after Mike Yeo was fired on Monday night. The Blues scored the first two goals of the game and never trailed, splitting a home-and-home with the Predators after losing at Nashville on Wednesday. But it was two fights, one between the Blues’ Pat Maroon and Austin Watson and the other between Schenn and Hartman in the game’s first 75 seconds that set the tone.“You should have heard our bench,” Schenn said. “A lot of emotion on our bench. It got us going. I think last game, we played hard, we were physical.”Nick Bonino and Ryan Hartman scored for the Predators, who had their three-game winning streak snapped. Juuse Saros was pulled in favor of Pekka Rinne after giving up five goals on 15 shots.Barbashev finished on a give-and-go with Jordan Schmaltz that resulted from a Miikka Salomaki turnover, giving the Blues a 1-0 lead midway through the first period. It was the first time in six games that St. Louis got the opening goal, a streak that dated to Nov. 10.O’Reilly made it 2-0 Blues with 6:51 left in the first, marking St. Louis’ first multi-goal game in their last five contests.“We stuck with it the whole time,” O’Reilly said. “We shot pucks, we were physical and we got them back on their heels thinking a bit and we kept rolling with it. That’s what we need to happen. We just kept rolling with it.”Bonino’s power-play goal for the Predators cut the deficit to 2-1 with 5:48 left in the first. It was Nashville’s first shot on goal.“They had a coaching change and we knew they were going to come out hard, especially at home and we didn’t match that tonight Patrick Kane Jersey ,” Predators defenseman Roman Josi said.Schenn answered 67 seconds later on a breakaway to make it 3-1 Blues.Sanford gave the Blues a 4-1 lead 46 seconds into the second off a feed from O’Reilly. It was Sanford’s first goal in 11 games, dating to Oct. 27.Fabbri made it 5-1 Blues with 8:07 left in the second. Fabbri’s first goal in eight games chased Saros.“Second periods, I think you’ve got to take a different mindset a little bit, especially with the lead,” Berube said. “I thought we did a good job of playing good defense and managing the puck.”It was the most goals the Predators have allowed this season. Nashville center Kyle Turris left the game in the first period, but the team gave no update after the game.“There’s things we did wrong and we can do better,” Nashville coach Peter Laviolette said. “Right from the start, right to the end.”NOTES: Predators G Pekka Rinne won his 320th career game on Wednesday, passing Miikka Kiprusoff for most wins by a Finnish-born goalie in NHL history. . Blues F Robert Thomas scored his first NHL goal on Wednesday, becoming the fourth-youngest player in franchise history to score a goal at 19 years, 142 days. . WASHINGTON (AP) — After four days off — three without practice — the Washington Capitals shook off some expected rust Thursday night in one of their most balanced performances of the season.T.J. Oshie scored his 11th goal of the season on the power play Anders Lee Jersey , John Carlson had an empty-netter, and Chandler Stephenson scored at even strength in the Capitals’ 3-1 victory over the Carolina Hurricanes.“It’s a little bit of everything for sure,” Capitals coach Todd Reirden said of the Metropolitan Division leaders’ third straight victory, and 15th in 18 games. “It’s important to find different ways to score and not be one dimensional.”Braden Holtby stopped 28 shots in front of a penalty kill that shut down all four Hurricanes power plays, the last coming on a high-sticking minor on Michal Kempny with 3:46 remaining.Washington’s only sour spot came midway through the third period, when Matt Niskanen slammed face-first into the boards after tangling with Carolina’s Justin Williams and Clark Bishop.Niskanen exited under his own power but did not return, and no boarding penalty was awarded. Less than a minute later, Sebastian Aho scored his team-leading 15th goal in the third period for the Hurricanes to cut it to 2-1.Carolina was without a power-play goal for a fifth consecutive game (18 total chances) and took its third loss in four games.“We got going Andrew Ladd Jersey , that’s all,” Hurricanes coach Rod Brind’Amour said of the third period. “We started to play, and we got one and we got back in the game. And then nothing on the power play at the end. That’s definitely been the Achilles heel all year.”Petr Mrazek made 30 stops for Carolina, which was outshot 33-29 after entering Thursday averaging a league-best plus-9.6 shot differential.Washington went ahead on the first shot of the second. Pressure from Travis Boyd and Devante Smith-Pelly forced a turnover in Carolina’s defensive end about 3 1/2 minutes in, and Stephenson was first to the puck. He put a shot into the top-right corner to beat Mrazek’s glove for his second goal in three games.Oshie made it 2-0 with 1:44 left in the period on Washington’s fourth power play, finding space in front of Mrazek to redirect Carlson’s shot from the top of the zone. It was the Capitals’ first goal on the man advantage in five games.“When you can’t find a way to score when you have that much level of talent on a unit, you sometimes have to simplify things,” Oshie said. “John made a great play. Shot to an area where I could tip. You just try to get a stick on it.”Aho scored when he pounced on a rebound following Holtby’s save of Micheal Ferland’s breakaway.Holtby and his defense absorbed Carolina’s late pressure in the final minutes before Carlson sealed it from his own end with 50 seconds remaining after Nicklas Backstrom’s faceoff win.“I think there was parts of the game where you just need to survive and get through Anthony Beauvillier Jersey ,” Carlson said.NOTES: Rierden said after the game he had yet to speak with his athletic training staff about Niskanen and could not provide an update. … Carlson added his 31st assist. … Capitals D Brooks Orpik missed his 26th game (knee) despite participating in Thursday’s morning skate. … Hurricanes D Haydn Fleury (concussion) missed a sixth consecutive game despite also participating in the morning skate.UP NEXTHurricanes: Wrap a two-game trip Saturday at New Jersey.Capitals: Visit Ottawa on Saturday. NEW YORK — The Winnipeg Jets will be the road team on Sunday night, but they’ll be better-rested than the New York Rangers. And probably in a better mood, too.The Jets will look to lock up a winning record on their Eastern Conference road trip Sunday night when they visit the Rangers at Madison Square Garden. Both teams will be playing the second game of a back-to-back set. The Jets squandered a two-goal lead in the final five minutes of regulation before Mark Scheifele scored his second goal of the night 16.3 seconds left in overtime to lift Winnipeg past the host New Jersey Devils 4-3. The visiting Rangers traveled home immediately after falling to the Montreal Canadiens 5-2.Article continues below ...The chaotic victory could provide more momentum for the Jets (15-8-2), who have won two straight and three of their last four. Winnipeg went up 3-1 on goals by Josh Morrissey and Andrew Copp within a three-minute span just beyond the midway point of the third period before Jesper Bratt and Taylor Hall tied the score for the Devils.“Lots of emotion on our bench,” Jets coach Paul Maurice said after the win. “They overcame a lot of obstacles. I really liked the way we played in the third. I thought that was our best period.”At this point, the Rangers (13-12-2) are just looking to enjoy one good period as they try to snap out of a slump that threatens to undo the progress they made during a surprising first month of the season.New York has lost four of five, a stretch in which it has been outscored 19-9, suffered two shutout defeats and blown a two-goal lead to the defending Stanley Cup champion Washington Capitals in another loss. On Saturday Authentic Brock Nelson Jersey , the Rangers fell behind 4-0 fewer than six minutes into the second period.“We’re not in the greatest mindset right now,” Rangers rookie coach David Quinn told reporters after Saturday’s game. “We’re not playing with a lot of confidence, and for good reason.”Backups Laurent Brossoit and Alexander Georgiev started in net for the Jets and Rangers, respectively, which means No. 1 goalies Connor Hellebuyck and Henrik Lundqvist are likely start Sunday night.Hellebuyck last started Thursday when he had 26 saves as the Jets defeated the Chicago Blackhawks 6-5. Lundqvist also hasn’t played since Thursday when he made 31 saves in the Rangers’ 3-0 loss to the Ottawa Senators.Hellebuyck is 1-2-0 in three career appearances against the Rangers. Lundqvist is 14-10-7 in 32 games against the Jets/Atlanta Thrashers franchise.Winnipeg concludes its road trip Tuesday when it visits the New York Islanders as Barclays Center. The game against the Jets is the final one before the “bye week” for the Rangers, who aren’t scheduled to play again until visiting the Florida Panthers next Saturday night.

NEWARK Custom Detroit Red Wings Jerseys , N.J. (AP) For the first time since spending $340 million to buy the New Jersey Devils in the summer of 2013, Josh Harris and David Blitzer are getting a chance to see the team play some meaningful games in the final months of the NHL season.Following Saturday’s 2-1 comeback win over the New York Islanders, the Devils hold a five-point lead over Columbus in the race for the top wild-card spot in the Eastern Conference, and a seven-point edge over the Islanders for the second wild-card spot with 20 games left in the regular season. While it is still too early to start celebrating, the Devils’ five-year playoff drought might be ending.”Yeah, I hope we’re going to the playoffs and long run, we’ve said consistently that we want to be an elite Stanley Cup contender year in, year out and there are no shortcuts to that,” Harris said Saturday night in a rare interview after taking part in the ceremony to retire the No. 26 jersey of Patrik Elias, the franchise’s all-time leading scorer. What makes this turnaround remarkable is that the Devils had their worst season in three decades in 2016-17, finishing last in the conference with 70 points.Their win over the Islanders on Saturday night gave them 72 points this season.”We have always said we were going to do things step by step to build long-run winners www.officialoilers.com ,” Harris said. ”Sometimes everyone gets impatient and we get impatient. Last year wasn’t great to be me. It’s very exciting to be in the hunt, but we are not done.”Much of the credit for the turnaround has to go to general manager Ray Shero, who came on board in the offseason in 2015. He has revamped the roster with the latest addition being the acquisition of 25-goal scorer Michael Grabner from the Rangers on Thursday in the first deal between the area rivals since the Devils came to New Jersey in 1982.It was just the latest deal by Shero who has acquired forwards Taylor Hall, Kyle Palmieri and Marcus Johansson, defensemen Sami Vatanen and Mirco Mueller and goaltender Eddie Lack in trades and signed free agents John Moore, Brian Boyle, Ben Lovejoy, Will Butcher, Jimmy Hayes and Drew Stafford.Hall is having a career season with 26 goals and 40 assists. His 66 points are 25 more than any player on the team. The bad season last year also helped earn the Devils the No. 1 overall pick in the draft. They got a winner with 19-year-old Nico Hischier, who is centering the top line.”Look when Ray came in in 2015 I still remember him saying things won’t necessarily change overnight, but we’re going to move this in the right direction and that’s all across the organization Edmonton Oilers T-Shirts Authentic ,” Blitzer said. ”What he has been able to do over the last 2 years, and I think as we look at the future, it has been incredible.”New Jersey still faces an immediate obstacle in its playoff push. Nine of its next 12 games are on the road, including eight with teams in playoff positions heading into Sunday’s games.Blitzer believes the Devils are going to finish what they started this season.”Certain things happen that you plan and certain things happen that you don’t necessarily plan,” he said. ”We got some really interesting pieces that you could not predict at the beginning of the summer. Will Butcher; for Nico to come and do what he is doing. Taylor Hall to turn over what he is doing this season and the leadership he is showing.”It’s just been incredible,” he added. ”I just think you see a team really gelling. It’s also a team not just built for today. This is a team that is built for the future and that’s what makes it so exciting.”— ST. LOUIS — The St. Louis Blues will have a decidedly new look when the puck drops on the team’s season opener as it hosts the Winnipeg Jets on Thursday night. The Blues are going with a youth movement as prospects Robert Thomas, Jordan Kyrou and Sammy Blais all made the roster. Blais is the old man of the group at age 22. Thomas, regarded as one of the Blues’ top prospects, is 19 and Kyrou is 20.What they lack for in experience, St. Louis hopes they make up for in skill.Article continues below ...Blais, who played in 11 games last season Edmonton Oilers Hoodies Authentic , scored a team-high four preseason goals.“It’s a great feeling,” Blais told the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. “This year I just wanted to stay here all year and keep working hard and do what I did during the preseason.”Thomas had a goal and three assists in the preseason.“It’s obviously tough when coming in, with the environment and everything, and some pressure on you,” Thomas told the Post-Dispatch. “Whenever you’re trying to make a team, you always focus on stuff, (but) sometimes it’s just better to relax and have fun each day.”Kyrou scored a goal and an assist in the preseason opener in Dallas on Sept. 18. He added two more assists to cement a roster spot.“I just feel a lot more comfortable out there (this year),” Kyrou told the Post-Dispatch. “My speed is a big factor, so I really feel like I can skate out there, create a lot of opportunities.”The trio joins veterans Pat Maroon, Ryan O’Reilly and David Perron as newcomers. All six players start the season as part of the Blues’ top 12 forwards. The Blues start the season with no reserve forwards and will carry nine defensemen Edmonton Oilers Hats Authentic , two more than usual. The team elected to go with the extra defensemen as Robert Bortuzzo will serve the final game of a three-game suspension against the Jets and Joel Edmundson is dealing with a groin injury. The Blues and Jets split their four games last season, with each team winning one and losing one on home ice. After a 114-point season and a second-place finish in the rugged Central Division, the Jets are dealing with high expectations. ESPN ranked the Jets No. 1 in its preseason power rankings and nine of Sportsnet’s NHL Insiders predicted that the team will win the Stanley Cup this season.Jets coach Paul Maurice said the team isn’t interested in what others are saying.“They all have a really good understanding of the value of a prediction,” Maurice told NHL.com. “We don’t want to downplay it. Go through the list and find one that was picked first, won the Presidents (Trophy) and won the Cup. Right, there’s a bunch of good teams at the top and there’s a bunch of really good teams that miss the playoffs. It happens every year. And you don’t want to be that team, right? You want to be that team over the course of the year that gets stronger and gets better.“We believe we have enough talent now to be a good team but an understanding that maybe that’s a smaller fraction of the whole pie that goes into having a year like last year.”
